YIN INTENSIVES (with Ayurveda): - with Jo Beautyman
Saturday 8th Feb
1 – 4pm
Join Jo for a longer, more intensive Yin Practice focused on the Element Water
(Practice targets Low Back, Joints, Bones, Teeth, Ears & works along Kidney Meridian / energy pathway)
A relaxing journey through key postures, with an emphasis on teachings of Ayurveda.
Ayurveda & Yoga are sister sciences that originate from classical Indian Philosophy. Ayurveda means knowledge of life.
A Yin practice of long, passively held floor poses is deeply nourishing & has many benefits.
Yin works to soften & repair deep layers of connective tissue, enhancing energy flow around the joints, where energy often stagnates. It can balance / enhance dynamic life activities or (yang) yoga.
Yin trains you to slow down & stay with any intense sensations that arise - becoming more comfortable with discomfort, bringing a sense of ease & balance. It can also help to release emotional tension.
Each posture will be introduced. Modifications & options for using props will be offered – so plenty of time to explore together!
All levels welcome – so regular practitioners & new to yin yogis!
Spaces are limited – so please book early!
To book, please email or call Jo directly: firstname.lastname@example.org / 07801595675
